Why is the Change of Address form important?
The delivery location on our rate confirmations are not always correct, and the receiver can change where the freight/cargo needs to be delivered. A new rate confirmation is not always sent, so carriers need to be protected by having proof of delivery to a different address than what the Bill of Lading and the rate confirmation states. This form will have the contact at the delivery, their signature, the old address, and the new address for delivery.
